Note: flag emoji display on iPhone, Android, Mac and inside apps like Instagram, TikTok and Discord. On Windows desktop they show as two-letter country codes instead of the flag — a Windows limitation, not a problem with your text.
How to use the flag text generator
Start by choosing your country flag, then pick a font style for the letters of your name. Tap copy and paste the result wherever you want it — a social bio, a username, or an in-game tag. There is no sign-up and nothing to install; the styled name is plain Unicode text that you own the moment you copy it.
Because the flag and the letters are real characters rather than an image or a formatting tag, they stay intact when you paste. That is what lets a flag-and-font name survive the jump from this page into apps that normally strip formatting.
Where flag names work
Flag emoji render reliably on iPhone, Android and Mac, and inside most apps — Instagram bios and captions, TikTok display names, Discord usernames, WhatsApp and X. Mobile games like Free Fire and PUBG accept flag emoji and many font styles in names too, though each game filters some characters, so a style that boxes out in-game just needs swapping for one of the “Safe” options.
The one consistent exception is Windows desktop, which displays the two-letter country code instead of the flag picture. This is covered in the note above the fold and in the FAQ — it is a Windows rendering choice, and the same name still shows a proper flag for everyone viewing on a phone or Mac.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add a flag to my name?↓
Pick your country flag and a font style above, then tap copy. Paste the result into your Instagram bio, TikTok name, Discord username or in-game tag. The flag and styled letters are real Unicode characters, so they travel with the text wherever you paste them.
Why does my flag show as two letters on Windows?↓
Flag emoji are built from two "regional indicator" characters (for example 🇵🇰 is P + K). Most platforms render that pair as a flag, but Windows desktop shows the two letters instead. It is a Windows design choice, not a problem with your text — the same name displays a proper flag on iPhone, Android, Mac and inside most apps.
Will the flag work in Instagram and TikTok?↓
Yes. Both apps render flag emoji on iPhone and Android, in bios, captions and display names. Pair the flag with one of the styled fonts here for a name that stands out.
Do flags work in Free Fire and PUBG names?↓
Flag emoji and many font styles work in Free Fire and PUBG names on mobile, though each game filters some characters. If a flag or style does not appear in-game, try a different style — the "Safe" options are the most widely accepted.
Is the flag text free to use?↓
Yes, completely free with no sign-up. Everything is generated in your browser, and the output is plain Unicode text you can paste anywhere.
